people that weren't alive then, or weren't old enough to pay attention, don't realize the mania that took place. I was in 6th Grade and thought it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen in my life. I was probably the perfect age for it to be a huge deal. Immediately started collecting trading cars, action figures and accessories, shirts, got the soundtrack for Christmas, etc. It was a big deal at the time.
