Barcello thrived in his off-ball role, but if you want a great defense, it's
hard to do that with more than 1 guy who's shorter than ~6'5" on the court at a time. Length is a huge deal for playing defense.
Plus, if Barcello has aspirations of playing professionally somewhere, he's going to need to learn how to play PG since he's only 6'2". He won't be at TJ's level, but I think he flashed some ability to shoot off the dribble last season, and he seems like a good enough teammate to find the right pass within the flow of the system.
