We've seen Harding on the floor for BYU. We haven't seen Johnson. Harding was BYU's best close-out defender.
He also has excellent touch from 3. I don't think Pope will grant guys the start merely because they're "due", but so far Harding has shown in games he's very good. If Johnson starts over him, I'd be very surprised.
