Looking back it's kind of interesting.
When basketball left the MWC for the WCC, I felt like it was a large setback to the basketball program. (My apologies Gonzaga) I wondered if the program would recover.
Now it may be that basketball is set to be the favorite sport at BYU again. Like it was for most of BYU's early history pre-LaVell.
I'm hoping both sports will be fun to watch again. Like the eighties. I'm happy to see basketball in such a good place. Hopefully football can get a break with a needed shot in the arm from somewhere.
