It is more than just that. You need separate accounts, agreements between the
LLCs (intercompany agreements), annual filings, separate credit cards. Also, may want to set up a service LLC that does the management of the property.

It is an oversimplification to just get a whole bunch of LLCs to protect you. There are a lot of things you need to understand and do to actually get that protection. Otherwise you are just paying the government more money for no more protection.
