That's a good point. I think the wasted scholarship may be a problem.
As far as team chemistry, but there's always some flexibility in the numbers.
I do think it matters how bad they are, but the position doesn't matter. If they're a 2* scout team player, fine. If they're the towel boy from the movie Waterboy? Different story.
But yeah, the position of the star player (and the need for him) matters more.
