I was a bit shrewder in my makeup — & the way he hit the transfer portal I was expecting him to sign four or five.

It now looks like that was never his plan.

But the fact remains — to field a good team we absolutely need one immediate qualifying PG, & one to sit & be ready next year. Rose probably would've rolled his dice with a PG who was way athletically & size challenged, or simply didn't have the right skillset (I can certainly name names, but I'll leave that alone).
