He can afford to fight it with his rich contract.
Worst case scenario is he gets fired for which he will get $3 mil per year remaining on his contract (through 2023). He makes about 3.5 before bonuses right now so in the long run he is set for life no matter what happens. He is the exact type of person that will fight this.
