It has advantages, especially if you don’t have a pool guy

A poorly maintained chlorine pool is a problem, your eyes can burn and it can be harsh on skin and hair. My BIL’s pool is like this...the reality is that People that take care of their own pools usually don’t do a good job.

If you have a good pool guy, a chorine pool is just as good, cheaper to build and more energy efficient IMO.
