Hamilton is more unique and revolutionary in music theater history. I think anyone who loves hip hop and or American history is going to love Hamilton more.

I think I enjoyed them both equally. I saw Les Mis twice. Once in London and once in Ohio. I saw Hamilton twice once in Chicago and once in Seattle.

Jean Val Jeans story of redemption and themes of justice and mercy with some of the most classic songs in music theater history.... it is a phenomenal production. It’s like a religious experience.

I think Hamilton was exciting because it’s so new. When I saw les mis it was already a classic. I’ll need to let the dust settle a bit before I decide which was better.
