I don't disagree that *as far as we know since this is still such a young virus* COVID-19 is not relatively dangerous for young adults. HOWEVER, the young adults themselves can potentially spread it to people who are at greater risk of sever complications and death (coaches, parents, grandparents, etc.) and that is something I think many of the "but its not dangerous to football players" crowd often forgets.
