The replies above are right, but they don't really address the primary
false assumption.

Your assumption is "there's a lot of DNA. Statistically speaking, I should get a very good signal based on my DNA."

But there's still statistical noise. How can there be noise with so much DNA? Because the vast majority of DNA is identical human to human. We are left with a relatively tiny amount to differentiate people.

The reason is noise.
