Btw- it’s not insignificant that what Intel calls 14nm is roughly the equivalent of what TSMC calls 10nm, Intel’s
10nm is comparable to TSMC’s 7nm, and Intels 7nm is comparable to TSMC’s 5nm. Yes, Intel is behind, but these naming differences exaggerate the disparity.

They should actually switch to being a contract manufacturer and invest deeply into American foundries. Take on TSMC
