I'm also guessing a lot of the people who gave thumbs down don't even realize that they don't care for tamales; it's popular to think highly of them and they take a lot of work. But to me, they need some vinegary hot sauce to even make them interesting. They are so bland.... Salt, cumin, chili powder, and fragrance from maize and beef. Ugh. Besides the maize that's some boring flavors without some kind of sweet and sour added.
