Plus, kids self select to certain clubs and there’s a pretty distinct
Hierarchy based on talent -
In our area, the second rank club has maybe 1-2 kids that would even make the top club (none would start) and it’s pretty similar between clubs below that.. obviously areas deeper in talent might have 2-3 similar clubs but then below that there’s a huge gap
In Our area the top kids still play HS but you’re right it’s just for fun and not college recruitment
