Sorry, but your argument is invalid. In the current system, yes, a non-P5 team has no chance. But what if recruits knew they actually had a chance at those schools? As it stands now, that's a HUGE disadvantage because the monopoly keeps them from having that chance even if they were good enough.

It would be better all around to have a larger playoff and have it include the non-P5 conferences. The monopoly of the P5 is horrible for the game. It keeps schools that want to improve from being able to do so and awards complacency of schools that are part of the club. There is no defense for it.
