Since you're young, shoot for a starter home, not a forever home
There are lots of nice starter homes in Weber County that are well under $400,000 that are very liveable for a couple or small young family.
Get in one, build equity, when your family size starts to fill out the house, and hopefully you've gotten a couple raises and some equity, go get your forever home.
