We are spoiled because this is his third year as the started, so it's easy to forget that he's only a junior. He's not only the healthiest he's been since coming to BYU, he's also moved up the college football learning curve, so I think this is his first season to be fairly evaluated.
His drive to be better is absolutely rare. Prior BYU QBs have wanted to be better, of course, but Zack Wilson goes the extra mile — over and over. I'm excited to see what he can do this year with an improved offensive line and a decent running game to force opposing defenses to do something other than blitz him constantly. Last night, he obviously improved as the game progressed. His darts to Gunner Romney in the second half were things of beauty.
