This was the type of play calling coaches should've been doing for him last year
...really easy throws, very scripted, very controlled.
Established the running game. Very little RPO. Keep the need to think and make decisions to a minimum. Focus was on Getting the ball out quickly so his playmakers had time to make something happen.Took a few shots downfield to keep the defense honest.
It was a very Baylor Romney-like game and as he got comfortable and settled he did a nice job managing the game.
That's what we need 90% of the time from our QB
