We are a small private practice but contracted a few years ago with a company to be part of their ACO. They require 2 meetings/month where we either sit and look at slides that could just as easily be 1 line of an email or listen to people talk for an hour that could have been condensed down to 3 lines in an email.
They also loved to randomly stop in for impromptu meetings during the day until I told them I would not be talking to them in the middle of clinic nor did I really care to talk to them outside our mandatory meetings.
This was one of my main drivers to leave Intermountain 10+ years ago where the meeting problem was infinitely worse.
