I remember growing up and seeing hundreds every day. Last two times maybe a dozen. I have actually gone through and didn't see any. We were just there in August and saw maybe 10 the first day and 8 the second. The majority were the same bunch as the day before close to West. I believe there are more Bison than elk in the Northern Elk herd or it's close. Wolves don't go after Bison a whole lot and mostly target elk. It's been 30 years since I have seen a Moose in the park they are almost completely gone if not gone. All because of some agenda 21 pet project.
