He was a smart little kid. He didn't like going to the bathroom, so when he had to poop, he would run off and hide and poop in his pullups.

I think with 8 kids, my mom wasn't too worried about it until he started approaching 4 years old. One day, when he pooped in his pullups, she calmly said, OK, lets go get you cleaned up. She took him outside, took his clothes off and hosed him down (it was summer time). It took two days of that water training and he was forever potty trained...

But to the subject, I too remember when I had all of the parenting answers before I had children. Haha.
