My sister thought she had it all figured out. When she saw people struggling with their kids, she would think to herself things like, “just tell them no. Don’t negotiate. You’re the parent. It’s not hard people.” Then she got her second, who was a boy. He was the hardest kid I’ve ever seen. It was hilarious to watch from the outside, but I would have struggled with him as my own kid. He was so bad, my sister cried for 2 weeks after she found out baby number 3 was also going to be a boy. Anyway, she is MUCH less judgmental of other parents now.
