It will take a few sandbags. 200 pounds is not enough for that. (Just adding the equivalent of one CBer).

95% of the time weight in back and snow tires will be more than enough. But that 5% will be frustrating...

Most trucks are RWD. You're be fine if you can lock in all 4 on snowy days. If it's a straight 2wd, thats a worthless

Snow tires and sand bags are fine. The only thing that's going to give you hurt is resale value. good luck with that.

I didn't live on any hills and I only lasted two seasons with my RWD truck. It got so annoying to drive in Winter.
