Huh? That Bama team was ranked #4. 12-1 going into the Sugar Bowl.
They beat #3 Georgia, #9 Clemson, and #15 LSU.
How was a 12-1 Bama team with 3 wins against Top 15 teams nowhere near the Top 4 teams this year?
Look. I hate Utah as much as the next guy but that 2009 Sugar Bowl beatdown was very improbable. Bama was heavy favorites.
