Each game that is played on ESPN has a little blurb on the greats from BYU.
They show Gifford Nielsen, Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Robbie Bosco, Ty Detmer, and then done. No one wants to awknowledge some of the great qb's after Ty Detmer. Steve Sarkisian, John Beck, Max Hall, and Taysom Hill. All but Steve played in the NFL. So any idea why the post Detmer QB's are never mentioned? Are they just wanting to remove the Quarterback U association to BYU in modern times? Are there certain criteria that the Pre-Detmer QB's met that the post Detmer QB's haven't met? Would love to be enlightened.
