Cougarclaw Intervention Needed
I did it for a while. made pretty good money. There were a few things I didn't
like that ultimately led me to stop.

1) They started reusing the same donation hole. It got to the point when it never fully healed. I didn't like that.
2) When they separate red blood cells from the plasma and put the red blood cells back in your arm, it's COLD. you can feel it go in. Made you go a bit numb. didn't like that.
3) I had no problem with needles. But after an hour+ of sitting on those beds with the largest needle in existence in your arm, that small pinch of the needle started to wear on me. It took months of donating twice a week, but I slowly lost my needle tolerance. I increasingly wanted to be done each time until I finally couldn't do it anymore. It's been decades, and needles don't bother me, but when I go donate blood, I'm SO glad the draw process is so much faster than the plasma.
