Good point here. Donating plasma is not as urgently needed as normal blood, but

it is used in many instances that do save peoples lives. It's true the person gets paid to do it, unlike real blood donations, but it saves many lives.

My wife had to have plasma injections for a year and it probably saved her life.

If you wanted an extra reason other than money, there it is.
