money because of the cost of travel, lodging, of an entire team, coaching staff, medical staff, assistants, vips, etc. However for BYU going to Vegas with that level of payout, it would be a windfall every year, and it would be an end around to donating large sums to the athletic department which isn't allowed due to the churches policies that donors have to donate directly to BYU for whatever BYU wants to use the money for.

I think that would be a brilliant idea.
