Mostly, but not completely
If Washington calls us on Monday and says they might have a game but can't guarantee it until Thursday, we should jump on that.

Worst case scenario, we miss out on scheduling a patsy meaningless win over UMass or the like
Best case scenario, we get a shot at a top 25 Washington team.
Real-life scenario, Washington plays Utah and we pivot to fill the opening against Colorado.

If USC calls us at 10AM Saturday and says they have an opening for 8PM that night, we should take it. Yeah, it's not fair and the travel situation would be a disadvantage for us, but if that's the price we pay to get opportunity for a marquee win, then you do it.

I'm all about reaching out to Marshall though. Right now they're behind Cincy and Coastal Carolina. Even if Cincy loses, Marshall is still probably behind Cincy and definitely behind CC. But if Marshall beats BYU, they have a legit shot at passing Cincy (especially if Tulsa upsets Cincy). If Marshall loses it doesn't really hurt them. That game makes a lot of sense for both teams
