I just bought a 2012 5.0 L and love it. Not too worried about the opportunity cost on lower gas mileage. Last month I needed to do some work on an ignition coil pack way back on the 8th cylinder, and it was a cinch, they designed the engine bay well on 5.0 and I feel pretty confident I can do a lot of maintenance myself without too much cussing. Easy access to everything and wide open.
