I’ve started two businesses and been very unsuccessful at both.
The first one was during b-school, and I plowed about $30k into it. The second one was a high-end reclaimed furniture business. I did about 10 orders and then decided it was too much work.
I’m currently two years in on my third venture. The jury is still out on this one, but it has real potential. I’m hoping to turn it into my full-time job a year from now.
