Coincidentally, a future manager had worked for the CIA for a few years.

He ended up mixed up with Aldrich Ames! They supposedly were in the same training class or group. He went back to Washington and tried to connect with him. Then Ames got busted and he supposedly was included in the investigation because of the contact.
