Baylor is probably the safe, steady option.
I don't think Baylor has nearly the upside that Conover has. Baylor will probably always have a pretty good to good showing, with limited great game potential. Conover probably has that great game potential from Game 1 with some definite shaky game potential given no experience.
I really don't know which would be better going into next season. Honestly, we probably need good to great games from our QB to beat Utah and Arizona State, and Baylor may not be able to deliver that. But shaky outings from Conover could lose us the Arizona or South Florida games.
Will be a tough decision.
