But he was abrasive, which led to some of his recruiting woes. It didn't help that many felt that Reid starting his sons was showing favoratism--but from what I recall having been there during Reid's last two years, his sons were better options than the guys on the bench.
I just remember with Reid, you liked BYU's chances in against almost any opponent because his teams were tough and well-coached tactically. Reid and Majerus had some epic battles.
