BYU.
He was a Co-OC twice at Utah. The first time he was demoted back to position coach after 1 year. The second time he lasted 2 seasons, but was then fired instead of just demoted. Even when Roderick was OC at SUU, his offenses only averaged 24 ppg. For comparison, Steve Clark was OC there for 6 seasons and his offenses averaged 27 ppg. Fesi Sitake's offenses averaged 30 ppg at Weber St.
Roderick had a pretty unimpressive track record as an OC coming into BYU. Fortunately, between the three former OCs and Grimes, BYU was finally able to put together a good offense. Hopefully Roderick has learned a lot in that time and will perform significantly better than he did the last three times he tried his hand at running an offense.
I believe that he will. He also still has Fesi and Clark to help him. I think that between them, BYU will be able to continually field above average offenses and hopefully a fair amount of good to great ones as well.
