You serious man? Look at how long Mark Few has been building up Gonzaga.

It takes time to build up a program. And the quality of recruits/transfers vary from year to year, same as how the quality varies from year to year in the NBA draft. Factor in how BYU's honor code will further limit who they can realistically recruit, and it just takes longer. If you really think Pope thinks this year's roster is the ideal then you're up in the night.
