I had to replace the wiring harness because there was corrosion inside
The corrosion inside the wires led to intermittent problems with the car not being able to draw enough power to start, but enough for lights, etc. Was always more problematic in the winter than the summer for some reason. It took a while to figure out about the corrosion inside the wiring.
