Go back and listen to it again. Shaq tells Donovan that he loves his game. Then he tells Donovan that he’s not enough to push them over the top. It was Shaq’s weird way of trying to motivate him. After Donovan responded Shaq said “that’s what I’d hope you would say.” I think it was Shaq’s way of trying to lite a fire in Donovan. Was it poorly delivered, absolutely. But hopefully it will work. That being said Shaq is straight up hating on Rudy.
