Points seems like the only beatable record even after Lebron takes it.
Rebounds is probably the most unbreakable...there was just way more missed shots back in the Russell/Wilt days. Think a guy like Drummond actually gets a higher percentage of rebounds than Russell/Wilt did, but the crazy pace and number of missed shots back then gave them way more opportunities.

People just don’t get the amount of blocks/steals as they once did. The explosion of the 3 point shot is probably the reason for blocks as that means less shots in the paint. Not sure about steals...perhaps the same reason, less feeding the post probably means less bad passes/steals.

Pace and scoring are increasing over the 90’s-2000’s era so assists could conceivably be beaten, but the pass first and foremost style of PG’s don’t really exist anymore. Plus Stockton is just so far ahead.

Scoring being way up makes the points record always vulnerable. I’m not sure there is someone playing right now that can beat it, but when you have guys like Harden that can put up 35 pts per game a few years in a row, the possibility is there. Haven’t looked, but I’d assume Harden got too late of a start at big scoring numbers, but someone like him could come along. Luka is a possibility, but he’s got a long ways to go.
