Anyone have or put in a master bath where the tub & shower are combined in one "wet room" like this?

Getting ready to remodel master bath & considering this. The room isn't huge but we could afford to make the shower & tub space about 5' x 8 1/2'. Any thoughts?

We would use larger tile (12x24 at least) & maybe a drop in tub w/ platform (easier for short old people to get in).

Assuming you are draining to one side? Larger tile make center drains hard.

Without a wall between the shower & tub, both areas can share floor space and be bigger than it they are separate.
