I'd imagine you'd have a serious mold issue between the tub and the wall???? Enclosed area because of the doors... dark spaces that are hard to clean.... water etc... mold could be a problem??

We would use larger tile (12x24 at least) & maybe a drop in tub w/ platform (easier for short old people to get in).

Without a wall between the shower & tub, both areas can share floor space and be bigger than it they are separate.
