That's precisely what they were doing. And it really didn't work that well...
Once they essentially abandoned their Office impersonation, they found a style that worked very well.
While I wouldn't necessarily say it ended up better than The Office I will say I almost certainly laughed a lot more during Parks and Rec than I did overall with the Office.

How does no one have Scrubs in the top 3. It might be #1, although I don’t think it can knock Seinfeld out of that spot.
