Well, in the last place I lived in Chile, we used the paper squares used to wrap

apples for shipment. the family we lived with had a produce store in the front of the house. One side was tissue, one side was waxy. Had to be sure which side to wipe with.

But we flushed them down, even though they told us not to.

Used a lot of the "Church News" also for this purpose. Flushed it too.
