Out of context a bit. Zach was used in the RZ a lot and they always want the ability to get out and move, but it didn't mean they want a "running QB" how most people think of it. A Hill or a guy like that.
A lot of these guys prove themselves as passers first in the pros. They don't run as much anymore, outside of Jackson. It will never be the norm.
Deshaun Watson got mad at being called a DT QB. He wanted to ne known as a very good passer, he just happened to be able to run as well. Now look. He's in the NFL and runs fewer than 100 times a season.
So even though some of these big names did run in college, they were clearly big time passers first and foremost.
People also forget that Grimes and ARod recruited Conover. They clearly knew he wasn't some pocket bound Manning.
