rebounded a lot more. But on the plus side, I was able to understand a lot of the Spanish speakers down there. Usually I can follow 80-90% of when "gringos" speak Spanish and much less when it is a native speaker. But after a few days I felt like I was following about 70-80% of what the natives were saying. My speaking abilities on the other hand, not so great. I leaned a lot on the Spanish speaking BYU students in my group.
