More and more I believe sugar is probably the most damaging thing in our diets. Forget fats, meat, carbs, MSG, or anything else. Maybe because we just eat so much of it, but still.
Diabetes. Cancer. Alzheimer's. Heart Disease. Immune system issues.
It's bad stuff. Yeah, it's ok in moderation, but we need to realize that almost nobody in America eats sugar in moderation. We need to cut WAAAAAY back, and it needs to start with not training kids to think sugar is the reward for everything in their little lives.
