For school, sluff

At my Utah HS, even the teachers and administrators called it "sluffing". We even had a "Senior Sluff" day during the last week of HS where the Senior class got to have a play day in Provo at Seven Peaks. I've never heard to it referred to as sluffing outside of Utah. People in California call it "ditching".
