Seems like adopting Bitcoin or any of the other common ones would just mean lining people's wallets for being early adopters. If our society decided to move forward with a crypto currency wouldn't it make a ton more sense to adopt a new one? Everyone joins with the same price point rather than joining at a super inflated price point.
I have very little understanding of how this is going to play out, but have never understood what my incentive would be to pay a 1000x markup on something that from what I can tell is in no way better than a crypto that joined the market in the last 6 months, or joins the market 3 months from now.
That feels like the huge gap in Mass adoption. Sure I'd love to have bought a bunch in 2010, but the only reason I can see for me to buy now is because I hope there are even more people who are afraid of missing out and buy in after I do.
