With no way to delete or modify those transactions, criminals are idiots who do this
Police get one criminals crypto account and now have publicly accessible information of all transactions to and from that account. They then start working their way through those transactions and these “safe” transactions are then rolled out as evidence again and again to tie criminal activities together.
